In Accra, many older vans from Germany are used in public transport (so called "Trotros"). On the cars one can often read the former german companies and the cities, where the cars were on the move before. The video deals with the two "places of employment" of these cars: it shows only the former location Probstzella in Thuringia and the area around the first company "Saalemed". One can see different areas of the city from the perspective of a moving car. But the sound is mainly from Accra, recorded in the bus on its line from Kokomlemle to Jamestown. The interesting and lively soundscape of Accra and the deserted quiet streets of Probstzella form a hard contrast.
